Australian artist, Michele Forbes was born in Cronulla, Sydney. Initially self taught, Michele then graduated from the Southern Sydney Institute St George College with the Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts. Michele has been painting full time for over 20 years and held her first solo show at the age of eighteen.

Currently living in Dubai and travelling internationally, Michele continues to be inspired by many different cultures and colours of the UAE and beyond, however the beautiful Australian landscape still dominates her work. 

Michele has conducted many group, solo exhibitions, workshops and demonstrations over the years, she often gets asked to be the featured artist in many shows. Her contemporary colourful interpretations have held a wide appeal and Michele’s paintings continue to be enormously popular both in Australia and overseas.
